Jacques Demotes-Mainard, MD-PhD-MBA, is neurologist and professor of Cell Biology. Worked as a clinical neurologist and basic neuroscientist, then as Director of the clinical investigation centre in Bordeaux. Since 2004, coordinated the FP6 and FP7 ECRIN projects, and since 2013 is Director of the Paris-based ECRIN-ERIC, the ESFRI-roadmap research infrastructure supporting multinational clinical trials in Europe. Advisor at the Biology and Health research department of the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research. Chaired the working group having drafted the 2012 OECD Council Recommendation on the Governance of Clinical Trials.
