Paola Principe-Nicolas holds a PhD in biochemistry from University College & Middlesex School of Medicine in London (UK) and several professional qualifications such as PMP® (PMI, US), CA-AM® (ASAP, US) and Pharmaceutical Marketing at ESCP (Paris, FR).

Paola has spent over twenty-five years in the pharmaceutical industry, successively in research, preclinical and clinical development, marketing, business development and management of strategic alliances. Her career led to the successful execution of several development plans in R&D, the marketing of four new drugs in oncology and neurology (Europe and North America) and the extension of the global market presence of a biological product.

These achievements were accomplished through the management of scientific collaborations and strategic alliances with key players in the sector of health innovation and pharmaceutical development (Inserm, CNRS, Roche, Nestlé Health Care, Valeant, Galderma, Santhera, GTx , Orion, Debiopharm,….).

Drawing on this experience, Paola founded in 2015 the consulting firm P&P PharmaConsulting, which targets operators in the health sector to provide them scientific, strategic, operational expertise and effective assistance in the management of R&D projects and portfolio programs, partnerships and strategic alliances.

P&P PharmaConsulting has several clients to its credit, including MATWIN, I-STEM/SATT IdF Innov, SATT Lutech and SATT Paris Saclay, EmiBiotech/Institut Curie, IXC Alliance, Pierre Fabre Médicament/Alliance Management, Guerbet Group, Servier and AlgoTherapeutix.

Paola is an active member of the PMI (Project Management Institute), ASAP (Association of Strategic Alliance Professionals) and ASAP Chapter France.
